Shabby chic bedroom make-over

 I've had lots of time to do absolutely nothing whilst my arm is healing, so I decided I wanted to spruce our bedroom up and buy some new bedroom furniture. We finally have matching bedside tables even though you can't see from the pictures (Daniel has already filled his with his kindle, boxers and 3DS games.) Necessities of course! My brother came and lifted it all for me as I'm a bit useless at the moment. The bedding was on sale at half price it took me ages to find somewhere that had it in stock in a double but I do absolutely love it! 

I keep looking at the furniture and it makes me so happy (yes, I'm that sad.) although it wasn't 'cheap' if you like.. it's still a lot less than you'd usually pay for shabby chic style drawers and a dressing table I've seen them go for up to £700 on eBay and antique websites before! But the quality of the furniture is actually lovely and really sturdy. All of the furniture came self assembled too which is always handy!

I'm too excited to light my new yankee candle and get into fresh clean bedding tonight (and steal Daniel's kindle for a super cosy reading session) What do you guys think of my new room?

  25. That dressing table has been on my wishlist since they released that furniture. I'm so determined to get it I may crack next month even though we'e due to move house soon. The only thing that aggravates me is the white version no longer seems to come with a mirror?!
